Services 

Type of Assistance We Provide

​

We provide home and community based services to children and adults living with disabilities. Assistance could range from those Basic Support Services to Intensive Support Services. Basic Support Services may include but not limited to services such as Individual Community Living Support (ICLS), Individualized Home Supports without training and Respite Care Services. Intensive Support Services may include but not limited to Individualized Home Supports with training and Individualized Home Supports with family training. Our training is tailored to meet the needs of our clients. We currently do not offer PCA services. 

INDIVIDUALIZED HOME SUPPORTS >

These include community living services which focus on encouraging community participation, health, safety, wellness, household management and the development of adaptive skills. Independent living skills support services are offered to seniors and or individuals that have various developmental disabilities to help them actively participate in the community. This service is designed to encourage and coach people with mental disabilities, mental health conditions or chronic illnesses to gain more independence in their life functions. Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

managing health care, encouraging communication, encouraging clients to develop and actively engage in daily living skills, behavior management skills, encouraging personal hygiene skills, medication management skills, basic financial management, accessing transportation, social skills, encouraging meal planning and nutrition skills, developing shopping skills, setting appointments, encouraging cooking skills, wellness planning and accompanying to appointments/visits.

 

COMPANION CARE >

This service is designed for seniors or people with disabilities who are in need of our professional companionship. Companion care does not cover PCA or Homemaker assistance. Responsibilities may include engaging in conversation, entertainment (eg: games, reading), infrequent transportation, assisting in light meal preparation, helping to maintain client's calendar (scheduling and accompanying to appointments), monitoring diet, reminders on medications, grocery shopping and errands.

Companion care does not cover mobility, feeding, grooming, dressing or incontinence support.

HOMEMAKER ASSISTANCE > 

This service is available only if covered by insurance. Homemakers perform the unique role of making your place of abode worth coming home to. Assistance range from home management responsibilities such as light housekeeping ( vacuuming, laundry, plant care, changing bed, dusting) to monitoring diet, providing reminders on medications and grocery shopping. This Service does not cover PCA services. Homemaker services are temporarily not available.

RESPITE CARE >

This is a short term or temporary relief service available for primary caregivers who are in need of back up assistance in caring for their loved ones. This service is especially useful when the original caregiver is unavailable for a short time period or going on vacation.
